Well, I guess I should start with the inevitable introduction. This is me and my spoiled little fur baby:
Amanda & Paisley!
(Yes, she is sitting in the booth with me at the bar. When I tell you she's spoiled, I mean it.)
I am a 26 year old proud, and mostly sometimes crazy, first time Pitbull mom. I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty of Miss Paisley on here, as she consumes much of my life. She is a rescue (I'm talking ASPCA, saddest thing you've ever seen rescue). Therefore, I feel it is my duty to make sure she is extra spoiled to make up for her prior life, whatever terrible things that might have entailed.
We are HUGE sports fans. Yes, I am referring to me and my dog lol. We bleed Duke Blue and live for the college basketball season. Let's keep this previous season behind us, where it belongs; although the pain still lingers.
If you can't find the humor in this shirt or find it offensive, I sadly advise that this may not be the blog for you. I'm known to slip the occasional swear word and have a slightly vulgar sense of humor.
We also enjoy Carolina Panthers football and Charlotte Hornets basketball when we can't have our college basketball. I am taking note that Paisley is lacking on the Hornets gear and don't worry, I'm on it!
As far as the real reason for my blog: I do everything from electrical work, refinishing and repurposing furniture to plumbing and crafting on my Cricut. Let's not forget that I LOVE makeup and hair and have a cosmetology degree (that I'm unfortunately not using - money called and I answered). You name it, at my house, I do it. But it's what I enjoy doing in my free time; who says we need a man for these things?! So my purpose here is to track the things that I do and to teach and help out others who dabble in the same DIY's or are just needing the little nudge of confidence to attempt things themselves!
